Dr. Amnon Aran

Dr. Amnon Aran is a Professor of International Relations at City-St George’s, University of London. His research focuses on the International Relations of the Middle East and Foreign Policy Analysis. His most recent publications include a Special Issue on ‘Turkey’s quest for strategic autonomy: perspectives from the Middle East and Black Sea regions’ in the International Politics Journal. He is also the author of three books, including Israeli Foreign Policy Since the End of the Cold War (Cambridge University Press, 2020) and has published in several academic journals. Professor Aran comments regularly for leading media outlets and has worked and briefed policy makers in the UK and abroad.
