Dr. Simon Ball

Dr. Simon Ball is an emeritus professor of the University of Leeds. He held the chair of International History and Politics at the University between 2012 and 2026. Previously, he was Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Glasgow. A specialist in the Cold War, the Second World War, British politics, secret intelligence and assassination, he is the author, most recently punlished book Death To Order: A Modern History of Assassination (London & New Haven: Yale UP, 2025).
