Prakash Jangid is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Political Science, University of Rajasthan, India. His doctoral research presents a rigorous comparative analysis of the hybrid warfare and gray zone strategies of Russia, Iran and Pakistan. Previously, he served as a Researcher and Editorial Assistant with the Consortium of Indo-Pacific Researchers and the Journal of Indo-Pacific Affairs, Air University Press, USA. Currently, he is Associate Editor of the forthcoming NEETIVYUH Journal of History, Society and Politics, to be published by The Statecraft Institute. His research articles have been published in the in India Journal of Political Science and Political Discourse. His recent chapter “Indian Perspective on the Evolving Approach of China and Russia Towards the Taliban” was published in “Emerging Dynamics of India-Afghanistan Relations Regional Cooperation vs Global Geopolitics” (Palgrave Macmillan, 2025). In addition, his commentaries and opinion pieces have been published on leading international platforms, including the London School of Economics South Asia Blog, The Diplomat, and the Stimson Center’s South Asian Voices.
